Nikola Angell

Nikola Angell

Undergraduate Student & Lab Volunteer

Nikola recently transferred to Northeastern University and is a third-year undergraduate in the Linguistics program. Her interests lay within early-childhood developmental education, but she is eager to join the TAN Lab to further develop her understanding in adult communication and motor disorders. Nikola has worked in Speech & Language Pathology offices, focussing on students with apraxia of speech and other communication disorders. However, in her time working with both students and their families, she has noticed the support systems upholding the students do not always receive parallel aid. Nikola hopes to work in the private sector of education and eventually plans to open her own business that focuses on educational programs for both children and their families to smoothly transition into therapy treatment. Out of the lab, Nikola enjoys reading, working with her nieces and nephews in their own developmental stages, and spending time with friends.
