On April 12th, TAN Lab undergraduate research assistants Divya Ravikumar and Lily White showcased their original projects at the 2024 RISE Expo, Northeastern University’s annual student research fair. Divya and Lily were both recipients of PEAK awards to support their mentored research exploration.
Divya’s project, “Optimizing and Standardizing Quality Assessment of Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy Data,” assessed factors contributing to fNIRS data quality.
Lily’s project, “Naming in Noise,” examined how different types of background noise may impact language and brain function in people with post-stroke aphasia.
