Dr. Meier recently attended the 52nd annual Clinical Aphasiology Conference in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where she presented on the preliminary findings from the TAN Lab’s “smartwatch” study examining ecological momentary assessment of word retrieval in post-stroke aphasia, as well as the benefits, barriers, and lessons learned from this research methodology. Lab members contributing to this research include: Leanna Ugent, Alexandra Reilly, and Nathalie Mitchell. Dr. Meier also served as a member of the CAC conference program committee and acted asĀ moderator for a session involving brain imaging in aphasia research.
